MANDATRY HIV TEST FOR ALL TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS

Kuwait City: The Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, issued a ministerial decision obligating the conduct of laboratory testing for the acquired immunodeficiency virus (AIDS) for all tuberculosis patients of all kinds, and this examination is considered mandatory in all health centers and hospitals.


The decision indicated that it came with a desire to preserve public health in the country, to discover communicable and infectious diseases in their early stages, and to preserve the protection of future generations and society from infection and the complications associated with these diseases.
