OSLO SHOOTING, AN ATTACK IN A NIGHTLIFE SECTOR CLAIMED TWO LIVES

According to police, a shooting at a nightclub and neighbouring streets in the heart of Oslo, the capital of Norway, left two people dead and 14 others injured, some of them badly.

At around 1:00 local time (23:00 GMT), shots were fired in three different places, including a homosexual pub.

Two firearms have been taken, and a suspect has been detained.

The suspect, according to police, was the only person involved in the shooting. The attack's cause has not been revealed.

At the London Pub, a well-known gay bar, as well as close to the Herr Nilsen jazz club and a takeaway, shots were fired.
