OPERATING 21 FLIGHTS FOR HAJJ SEASON, CARRYING 6,216 PILGRIMS

Kuwait City: The Director-General of the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Yousef Al-Fawzan, announced the operation of 21 flights for the Hajj season this year, within 6 days, to transport 6,216 pilgrims to the Sacred House of God on board four airlines.


Al-Fawzan said that the first Hajj flights will start next Thursday after the administration has completed all its preparations to organize the Hajj season for the Kuwaiti campaigns.

He explained that the four companies are Kuwait Airways, Jazeera Airways, Saudi Airlines and Fly (Nas). He added that an operational plan for flights was drawn up in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns and Kuwaiti and Saudi airlines, to ensure the success of the movement of pilgrims from Kuwait International Airport to King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.

He stated that Kuwait Airways flights will be operated from the terminal building (T4) and Jazeera Airways flights will be operated from the terminal building (T5), while Saudi Airlines and flynas flights will be operated from the main terminal building (T1).
