KUWAIT SAW THE FORMATION OF 40 GOVERNMENTS IN 60 YEARS

Kuwait City: The ministers of the 40th government of Kuwait took oath before the Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah. The first government was formed under the leadership of Emir Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah who passed away in January 1962. Earlier, Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah issued an order appointing Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah as Prime Minister.


History shows that 40 governments were formed in Kuwait in 60 years. There were 14 ministers in the government headed by Emir Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah who died on 17 January 1962. The first government led by Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid, who resigned most recently, resigned on January 18, 2021. Then two governments were formed under the leadership of Sabah Al Khalid. His resignation was finally accepted by the Amir on May 10, 2022.
