DEPORTATION OF ILLEGAL WORKERS, KUWAITI MINISTRY OF INTERIOR CONTINUES TO COORDINATE WITH EMBASSIES

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior continued its efforts to complete the process of deporting some workers arrested for violating labor and residence laws. Embassies in some countries continue to finalize pending employment files in the country. The country's authorities are conducting extensive investigations. An exit permit is issued in coordination with the embassies after paying the fines imposed on the offending worker.


The Philippine Embassy in the country has completed the procedures for 630 citizens who are in deportation prison. Hundreds of domestic workers have been arrested in continuous checking campaigns in different parts of the country. An absconding report has been registered against them. At the same time, many citizens have expressed their opposition to being liable to pay the cost of the ticket for the worker's journey after his arrest.
