.The Cabinet, headed bySheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, approved plansto issue a federal decree approving the historic accord. The UAE and Israelsigned the Abraham Accord at a ceremony held at the White House last month.
In a statement on theUAE Government's Twitter account, the Cabinet outlined its confidence that theagreement will bolster peace and stability in the region and pave the way forthe nations to forge closer ties across economic and cultural sectors.
At the ceremony, UAEMinister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Sheikh Abdullah binZayed and Bahrain Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani signed agreementswith Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.
