Kuwait Condemns Israeli Aggression, Affirms Qatar's Security is "Red Line

Kuwait's representative, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, delivered a forceful speech at an emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha. The core message was that an attack on Qatar's sovereignty is an attack on the entire Arab and Islamic world.

He began by condemning the September 9th Israeli aggression against Qatar, offering condolences for the victims, including martyr Bader Saad Al-Dosari.

The speech outlined six key reasons for rejecting this action:

  1. It is a violation of Arab and Islamic sovereignty.

  2. It continues a dangerous and escalatory Israeli approach.

  3. It poses a clear threat to regional and international security.

  4. It directly undermines international peace efforts.

  5. It shows a blatant disregard for international law.

  6. It risks plunging the entire region into chaos.

The Crown Prince accused Israel of intentionally sabotaging Qatar's crucial mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and stop the bloodshed. He praised Qatar's noble work in supporting Palestinian rights and the two-state solution.

He concluded with three firm Kuwaiti positions:

  • Full support for any measures Qatar takes to ensure its security and sovereignty.

  • A call for combined regional and international efforts to stop escalation.

  • A rejection of any practices that fuel extremism and destabilize the region.

The representative also thanked Qatar's Emir for the hospitality and the summit organizers for their preparations.
