LEGAL ACTION IN KUWAIT AGAINST FAKE EDUCATION CERTIFICATES

Kuwait City: Government agencies are wary of implementing a cabinet order to check employees' educational certificates. Preparation is to determine practical procedures for screening and verifying certificates. Only certificates issued from abroad are targeted for verification. A large number of Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees working in government agencies will be included in the inspection. 


The concerned departments of the government agencies will work to prepare proposals and mechanisms to solve the problems in verifying the certificates, submit them to the ministers and approve them. Any discrepancies in the certificates will be sent to higher education to check its validity before the implementation of these measures, government sources explained.
