KUWAIT UNIVERSITY IS RANKED FIRST LOCALLY IN FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Kuwait City: Kuwait University (KU) was ranked first among Kuwaiti universities in the field of scientific research, with advanced results in Asia and the world, according to the AD Scientific Index 2023 global classification. The "AD Scientific Index" is a system for ranking universities in the field of scientific research, with a unique methodology based on data from the Scientific Researcher "Google Scholar platform" for Faculty Members, as well as the number of citations for the researcher's publications and the results of the last five years in approved research indicators. 


The results demonstrated progress in Kuwait University's local ranking from a total of 14 universities and research institutions over the previous five years, compared to the current year 2023. Kuwait University outperformed a total of 10,119 universities and research institutions in the Asian region, as well as globally.
