Kuwait City: Ahmed Gharib, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the digital health sector, announced the launch of two new services through the unified government application Sahel — submitting a request for premarital examination and notification of the valid examination result — as part of the ongoing digital transformation efforts for health services to facilitate the citizens.

In regards to the service of requesting a premarital examination, Gharib explained that the application is submitted via the unified government application by any of the parties who are about to get married, so that the applicant specifies the date of the appointment, the location of the examination centre, and the necessary information about the other party. After that, a notification is sent to both parties. To fill out the medical questionnaire required by the center, and in the event that the second party is not subscribed to the Sahl application, the link to the questionnaire will be sent by e-mail.
