Kuwait installs monitoring cameras

Kuwait City, Jan 4: The General Traffic Department announced the start of installing cameras of the sixth generation of traffic monitoring systems for violators of speed above average and traffic lights, based on its keenness to develop its traffic monitoring system to raise the level of safety and make driving safe on road.

The administration added that this type of camera comes with several advantages, the most prominent of which is automatic control of cases of prohibited turning, reversing traffic, using phones while driving, not wearing seat belts and parking in the yellow square at traffic light intersections.
