Expatriates arrested in Salmiya

Kuwait City, Jan 9: Ministry of the Interior, Trade and Information; In addition to the Manpower Authority (PAM) and the Kuwait Municipality, recently conducted a large-scale inspection campaign that included hotels and hotel accommodations in Salmiya that were not allowed to engage in certain activities, Al-Jarida Daily reported.

Deputy Director of the Employment Protection Sector at PAM Dr Fahd Murad said that this campaign intended to regulate the market and control marginal employees who broke the Residency and Labor laws, such as those who work for employers other than their sponsors. The campaign resulted in the arrest of many men and women. The necessary legal action will be taken soon.
