MoI to reduce noise from vehicle exhausts

Kuwait City, Jan 9: The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Traffic Department and in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, conducted a meeting with the Ministry of Commerce in the presence of the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Muhammad Mikhlif Al-Anzi, to develop procedures to reduce the annoying sounds that are emitted from vehicle exhausts.

During the meeting, it was decided to implement intensive traffic campaigns and strict measures against violators and companies that install exhausts that cause the sounds.
