Kuwait City, Jan 11: In the US, a magic treatment for treating cold symptoms is making its way around the TikTok app.It's onion juice. But aside from its strange success, experts say the proliferation of this fake prescription is a proof that millions of Americans lack access to proper medication.

Katherine Wallace, an epidemiologist, advises that when someone becomes ill, they should seek medical advice from a real professional.Despite the lack of any scientific proof of its efficacy, videos promoting this onion drink have received tens of millions of views on the platform.
