Kuwait City, Jan 12: If Manila decides to stop exporting its workers, domestic labor crisis is imminent, according to experts in the field, particularly given the impending month of Ramadan when there is a high demand for these workers' services, according to the Aljarida daily.

The daily has frequently written on its pages about the return of the problem of domestic employees being overcrowded in their embassies, particularly the Filipino ones, and the effects of suspending the export of labor, particularly from Manila, which provides the Kuwait market with about 70% of its domestic labor needs. The high volume of labor disputes are the primary cause of the exacerbation of this phenomenon. The experts called on the relevant government agencies to solve the issue.
