Indian workforce tops in Kuwait

Kuwait City, Jan 12: Approximately 212,250 citizens and residents entered the Kuwait labor market during the first nine months of 2022, according to data on the labor market as of the end of September 2022.The data revealed that after Egypt dropped to second place during the previous period, India has reclaimed the top spot on the list of countries with the most workers in Kuwait which constitutes 476,300 male and female workers as of the end of September.

In just nine months, it saw an increase of 39,219 workers, making up about 24.1 percent of the labor force in Kuwaiti market. Without including domestic workers, their total population at the end of December 2021 was 437,100.
