Re-entry to Kuwait: Deadline is January 31st

Kuwait City, Jan 16: All campaigns under Article 22 "joining a family" for students, wives, and others must take place before January 31, 2023, according to the residence affairs division of the Ministry of Interior, which states that it has no intention of extending the campaign for those who have been away from the country for more than six months.

According to the source, Fawaz Al-Masha'an, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Residency Affairs, has ordered the automatic cancellation of all expatriates' residence permits at the end of this month if they have been away from the country for six months or more. They won't be allowed to re-enter the country without undergoing entirely new procedures and approvals, the source said.
