A greenlight for railway

Kuwait City, Jan 16: The Central Agency for Tenders approved the request of the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport regarding issuing a tender for the project of detailed study and design works, and preparing documents for the tender for the railway project “Phase One”.

Sources in the commission described the step as an achievement because it paves the way for moving forward towards the implementation of the project, which has been delayed for several years, noting that the estimated value of the consultancy project is about one million dinars. The closing date is February 21, and until that date, a number of consulting offices wishing to participate are expected to apply.
