Indians top the list with the largest number of domestic workers, reaching 45.5%

Kuwait City, Jan 20: There are 323,801 Indian domestic workers in Kuwait, according to reports. 45.5% of the total number of domestic workers are from India. Philippines is at the second position. Domestic workers from the Philippines accounted for 184,939 or 26%. Sri Lanka ranks third position, and Bangladesh ranks fourth.The figures show that 93 percent of the total workers in the domestic labor sector are from mainly four countries; India, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Most of them are from the Philippines, India and Sri Lanka. Domestic workers from countries like Nepal, Ethiopia, Beni, Indonesia and Pakistan are also working in the country.
