Philippine President to review labor agreement between Philippines and Kuwait

Kuwait City, Jan 31: Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr said he wants to check if there are "weak spots" in the labor agreement between the Philippines and Kuwait, following the brutal murder of a Filipina worker, Ranara, in Kuwait a few days ago.

During a press conference held in the city of Las Piñas after his visit to the funeral ceremonies for the remains of the slain worker, the Philippine president indicated that he is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the Kuwaiti government in order to determine whether there are weaknesses or loopholes in the work agreement concluded between the two countries.
