Sharjah's four day work week brings 90% increase in productivity

UAE, Feb 5: According to Al-Arabiya, a government study found that the four-day work week system implemented in the Sharjah has improved job performance, satisfaction and mental health by about 90%.

The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), which is presided over by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and chairman of SEC reviewed the findings on Tuesday. The study discovered a 90% increase in employee job satisfaction and a 90% enhancement in job performance.
