PACI's constant delay in issuing Civil IDs creates difficulties

Kuwait City, Feb 6: The Public Authority for Civil Information continues to delay issuing civil cards to expatriates and restricts them to citizens and children under the age of five, despite the fact that the authority charges 5 dinars to issue the IDs, and there are many different justifications for this delay.

As part of the digital transformation, the authorities are looking to rely entirely on the digital citizenship card (My Identity), but the problem is that there are parties inside and outside Kuwait who do not recognize it and have not officially accepted the transaction.
