Kuwait sent private plane to Turkey to evacuate Kuwaitis in earthquake area

Kuwait City, Feb 6: In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that occurred in the north and center of the Syrian Arab Republic and the south of the Turkish Republic, Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah announced that a private plane was sent to that area to evacuate the Kuwaiti citizens.

Al-Abdullah stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its missions in Ankara and Istanbul, is following directly the conditions of Kuwaiti citizens in the affected areas and is working to ensure their safety and their safe return to the country. The Foreign Minister expressed Kuwait's sympathy and solidarity with the victims of this disaster.
