Turkey earthquake: Kuwait sends first aid plane to Turkey

Kuwait City, Feb 7: The first pilots of the Air Bridge took off, following the directives issued by His Highness the Emir of the country Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to send urgent aid and medical staff on behalf of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Turkey after the earthquake struck it.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated the activation of the air bridge, while the Kuwaiti army took over the responsibility of transporting cadres, machinery and equipment by air.
