701 tons of total in-kind donations to Turkey

Kuwait City, Feb 18: Al-Najat Charitable Association announced that the in-kind donations that the association received from charity in coordination and cooperation with the official authorities and the Turkish embassy in the country, amounted to 701 tons of urgent relief materials, in preparation for sending them to the earthquake-stricken people in Turkey. 

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, Faisal Al-Zamil, said that part of the in-kind donations weighing 81 tons is currently at Kuwait International Airport, in preparation for sending it as soon as possible, while the donations at Al-Najat amounted to 620 tons awaiting the official procedures. Since the beginning of the humanitarian disaster, 150 tons have been sent.
