Drugs worth 150 million Dinars seized in 2022

Kuwait City, March 7: While the Ministry of Interior continued its war against poison dealers and smugglers to protect Kuwait's youth from this devastating scourge, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled reaffirmed that "no one is above the law", and ordered an urgent investigation into an incident of an accused tried to bring in 18 kg of hashish while his luggage was being searched at the Salmi border crossing.

The financial value of drugs seized in 2022 was estimated at 150 million dinars, stressing that the quantities of toxins seized are the largest in the history of Kuwait during one year.
