Around 151,992 residency rule violators arrested in 2021

Kuwait City, March 8: The final results of the 2021 Registration Census Project conducted by the Central Administration of Statistics in collaboration with the Public Authority for Civil Information indicates that the total population of the country is 4,385,717 million, of which 1,488,716 million (34%) are Kuwaitis. Statistics show that 2,897,001 million(66%) are non-Kuwaitis.

The number of Kuwaiti males is 729,638 (49%). The number of women is 759,078 (51%). Meanwhile, the 2021 census results revealed that the number of residency rule violators was 151,992, entry visas were 44,879, and visa violators were 26,985. Releasing the results of the projector, IT Minister Mazen Al Nahdah said that such statistics play an important role in the development planning process.
