Ministry of Finance takes back ownership of friday market

Kuwait City, March 8: The Ministry of Finance has announced that it is taking back the ownership of the friday market from the leasing company as the contract expires on March 1, 2023.

Being considered a popular market, the State Property Department is keen to continue market operations and receive visitors from citizens and residents as soon as possible, the ministry said in a press release. It has been clarified that the department is currently completing the procedures to recover and reopen the market.
