Sri Lankan embassy raises the prices for domestic workers to 476 dinars

Kuwait City, March 30: Sri Lankan embassy raised the prices for the recruitment of direct domestic labor contracts through the employer to 476 dinars, in violation of the decision of the Ministry of Commerce, which previously set the value at 350 dinars. According to a circular issued by the embassy, ​​the person concerned must be reviewed to ratify the employment contract.

In the context, Bassam Al-Shammari, a specialist in domestic labor affairs, said that the cost of contracts for domestic workers from Ceylon is not less than 500 dinars through agents, in addition to the price of insurance and travel costs.
