Ready for negotiation with Philippines if Kuwait's demands met

As long as the Philippines complies with Kuwait's demands, negotiations on the ban on issuing visas to Filipino nationals remain possible, according to Kuwait's deputy minister of foreign affairs, Mansour Al-Otaibi. The Philippines must acknowledge that its actions at its embassy in Kuwait violated Kuwaiti law and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. 

The interior ministry had announced last Wednesday that the visa ban would last  indefinitely after labor talks between Kuwait and Philippines ended without agreement.The routine renewal of residence permits for legal residents of the Philippines will continue.
