Director of Criminal Investigation Department: Life imprisonment for human traffickers

Kuwait is making great and remarkable efforts to combat human trafficking. On the occasion of the International Day to Combat human Trafficking, which falls on July 30, a group of government agencies and international organizations launch  introductory activities about the efforts made by Kuwait to preserve human rights and combat trafficking in it on Sunday.

On this occasion, the Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, Brigadier General Youssef Al-Seneen, revealed that the department was able to seize several cases in this regard, which ended with sentencing one of the accused to 15 years in prison, while the sentence in another case reached a life sentence.
