The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic - Education Affairs, Coordination and Follow-up Sector, yesterday evening, carried out two large-scale traffic campaigns in the Mahboula and Al-Ardiyah Al-Harafiya areas, with the aim of seizing mobile taxis, on-call taxis, vehicles and bicycles for delivering consumer orders, and food orders.
The two campaigns resulted in the issuance of 428 traffic violations, the inspection of 98 car rental offices, the closure of 44 violating offices, and the referral of two people to the Traffic Detention Center after they were caught driving vehicles without obtaining a final driving license, and the arrest of an expatriate on charges of expiration of residency and a registration against him.
