The Ministry of Interior said, “The Farwaniya Governorate Investigation Department was able to uncover the 14 unknown theft cases, by identifying similar theft incidents with the same criminal method.” The Ministry added, in a press statement, that an unidentified person wearing the national costume and concealing his features by wearing a mask and sunglasses was entering employees’ offices and patients’ rooms in hospitals and health centers in Farwaniya and the capital governorates and stealing their private property.
The Ministry indicated that a force was formed to search and investigate these incidents, and this resulted in identifying him as a citizen, and after obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution, he was arrested, explaining that he had a history of theft cases, and when confronted by investigations, he admitted committing the crime.
