The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) is currently developing an innovative online system aimed at simplifying rental agreements in commercial and investment properties, as stated by PACI Acting Director, Mansour Al-Medhen, in an interview with Al Rai Arabic daily. As per the proposed plan, both landlords and tenants will be able to electronically sign the new rental contracts. Tenants will exclusively use the electronic contracts provided by the platform to verify their residency. Landlords are mandated to register new tenants and those who are moving out of the property through this system. This new process will contribute to the standardization of addresses on civil ID cards. The electronic contract between landlords and tenants will guarantee that addresses.
