Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has unveiled two large murals in the Al Quoz Creative Zone, bringing color and creativity to the district. This move is part of the Dubai Public Art Strategy, which aims to turn the city into a global cultural destination through accessible and engaging public art.

Created by three talented female artists, the murals capture the unique energy of Al Quoz. Egyptian artist Rabab Tantawy’s mural, Vibrant Voices of Al Quoz, decorates the Aramtec building and features traditional spice markets, Arabic lanterns, and architectural motifs like domes and arches, celebrating the area’s cultural roots.

The second mural, Wonder Windows, is a joint work by Emirati artist Hend Al Murid and Syrian artist Dina Saadi. Placed at the WooHoo children’s museum, it blends playful and traditional Emirati symbols, including the Hudhud bird and dalla coffee pot, encouraging imagination and cultural curiosity.

Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi of Dubai Culture highlighted that these artworks contribute to building a dynamic space where young creatives can thrive. Mozah Lootah, Project Manager for Dubai Public Art, emphasized how such efforts help transform public areas into cultural hubs and foster community engagement.

Through these murals, Dubai Culture continues to support local artists while making art an everyday experience for residents and visitors, reinforcing Dubai’s vision as a global center for artistic innovation.
