Kuwait City : As Kuwait International Airport has been opened for commercial flights from August until November 8,about 192000 passengers entered Kuwait. Among them majority were expats from Dubai and Istambul after Kuwait had banned 34 countries. In the matter of assessing the situation of 34 countries, the coordination is ongoing with the health authorities. Recently, there has been certain followup done in adding or reducing the number of countries that have reported an increase in covid-19. The quarantine period for those returning from abroad remains the same. Earlier, Kuwait airways and Jazeera airways presented a plan to the authorities regarding the flight service. Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, the Minister of Health promised to follow it up and take the necessary technical measures to adopt it.
