Kuwait City : As per reports, the Misdemeanor Court sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to six-month imprisonment with hard labor for duping a girl with promises of marriage and swindling KD 42000 from her. Reports say that the Public prosecution charged the defendant with embezzlement and fraud charges. Lawyer Abdul- Mohsen Al-Qattan argued that the defendant intended to defraud his client and she has a criminal record for a similar crime. He added that the accused promised to the victim to give profit in a business scam that the defendant had organized.
