Kuwait City : On Thursday, Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr.Fahad Al-Afasi participated in the sixth meeting of GCC Ministers of Awqaf Affairs via virtual platform. During the meeting, multiple issues on various levels and fields were raised in the meeting. The Minister added that the challenges require an important role that the Ministers of religious affairs must play and work towards achieving by filling the cultural void and rooting knowledge life through the esteemed methodology of Islam drawn from original sources. He also added that Kuwait submitted a proposed paper and was approved regarding bolstering faith in God and three other proposed papers presented by Saudi Arabia. He praised the role of the GCC general secretariat for the well preparedness of the meeting.
