Kuwait City : On Monday, Kuwait held a military funeral for seven martyrs who had sacrificed their lives during the Iraqi invasion of 1990, whose identified remains have been recently received from Iraq. As per reports, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, military and security leadership led the masses of mourners. The Minister of Defense expressed to the martyrs' families the sincere condolences of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait had identified the remains of seven Kuwaiti prisoners of war or missing persons by conducting DNA tests.
