Street Vendors Run Makeshift Market Around Philippines Embassy

Kuwait City : As per reports, the Ministry of Interior along with Kuwait Municipality carried out a campaign at Philippines Embassy in Kuwait. The campaign was held after receiving many complaints regarding street vendors running an illegal makeshift market outside premises of the Philippines embassy. The vendors fled into the embassy leaving the goods upon arrival of security and municipality authorities. The municipality confiscated the food and other items which were on sale and they checked the expiry dates. The reports said that the Philippines embassy should not entertain these street vendors and should end this uncivilized phenomenon.
