PAM Mulling Resuming Transfer Of Family Visas To Work Visa

Kuwait City : As per reports, the Public Authority for Manpower is planning to allow the transfer of family visas to work visas once again after a two-month break. The reports said that this new decision arises from humanitarian motive, as there are a large section of expats especially females, who entered the country for the first time on work permits. The transfer procedure requires the approval of the Undersecretary of the Employment Affairs Sector at the authority and will invite a payment of KD300 dinars if the transfer period from residency permit to work visa to family visa is less than 6 months.
