16th Legislative Term Of Kuwaiti Parliament Begins On Tuesday

Kuwait City : The National Assembly of Kuwait will start its 16th legislative term on Tuesday, in the era of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Several legislative terms had come to pass since the late Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah approved the constitution on November 11th,1962. On January 29th 1963, the first legislative term took effect and ended in on January third 1967. The second and third term began on February seventh 1967 and February 10th 1971 respectively.
