Kuwait City : As per reports, the State Audit Bureau rejected the request of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation to award a tender worth of KD 2.47 million to a local company. The tender was for the provision of manpower in the security and safety of the oil sector complex and the Petroleum Training Center. It was rejected in order to allow the appointment of willing citizens to work in the profession under the job title of firefighter. The reports say that the State Audit Bureau rejected KPC's requests, despite the fact that there are 55 citizens who applied for the firefighter position, but KPC has not yet issued an official response on the applications.
