American Soldiers In Kuwait Involved In Selling Pork Outside Camp

Kuwait City : As per reports, special agents from the US Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating allegations of abuse and illegal resale of port products at Kuwait. Chris Grey, spokesman for CID said that "Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation process." According to the reports, the American forces deployed outside the United State stated that Kuwait is a Muslim country, where pork is strictly prohibited. According to the State Department's Overseas Security Advisory Council, "US citizens are subject to the country's laws and regulations in Kuwait. The circular warned that the punishment for smuggling and selling pork outside the camp is life imprisonment. As per Kuwait Penal Code Article 13 of Law 112/2013 the penalty for selling pork is imprisonment between 3 months and 3 years.
