New Year's Holiday To Fall On Sunday, Church Services Suspended

Kuwait City : According to the Civil Service Commission, all the ministries and public bodies in Kuwait will go on an official holiday on Sunday for the occasion of New Year's Day. As per reports, the official working hours in the country will start on January. The Cabinet also decided to close churches and prevent gatherings during the celebration of religious holidays in public places from December 24. The Council Of Ministers asked all citizens and expats to adhere to health instructions and not to gather and to practice physical distancing on all special occasions and religious holidays in order to preserve public health.
