RESUMING FLIGHT PLAN IN KUWAIT ;SECOND PHASE POSTPONDED

Kuwait City; The Council of Ministers decided to postpone the second phase of the commercial operation plan to allow for flights to resume at Kuwait International Airport in light of the spread of the new coronavirus strains in many countries . 

The second phase, which was scheduled to start on February 1, included increasing the operational flight traffic by no more than 60% so that the number of passengers does not exceed 20,000 passengers per day. But in light of the emergence of new strains of the Coronavirus and the commercial operation rates failing to reach the set limits in the first phase, the second phase has been postponed until further notice
