REDUCTION IN DOMESTIC WORKER 'S COST ; HIGH RESPONSE

Kuwait City; According to reports, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is studying the possibility of reducing the cost of bringing domestic workers to KD 890.There has been discussions between the MoCI Minister, Minister of State for Economic Affairs , The Manpower Authority And Labour Union offices regarding this subject in order to to reduce the financial costs on citizens.

The Head of the Federation of Domestic Workers Recruitment Agencies, Khaled Al-Daknan pointed out that it is impossible to get this reduced as the cost of travel tickets under the circumstances, in addition to the employee having to pay the cost for facilitating the arrival of domestic workers under the health measures.
