TERMINATION OF NON KUWAITI TEACHERS ;NOT APPROPRIATE

Kuwait City ; The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has told the Ministry of Education that it would not be appropriate to terminate the services of 372 Non  Kuwaiti teachers those who are stuck abroad and their residences are out of date.

 In a letter to the ministry, the commission clarified the procedures for termination of the contract with the non-Kuwaiti teachers in view of the legally prescribed warning period of the second contract.However, the letter states that the final decision in this matter is at the discretion of the Ministry of Education under the terms of the contract period. On December 31, the ministry sought the opinion of the commission on the ministry's decision not to renew the contracts of 372 teachers who were stuck abroad and their residences had expired.
