MURDER OF PHILIPPINE WOMAN;NEED JUSTICE NOT BLOOD MONEY

Kuwaiti City ;Philippine Foreign Minister Theodoro Laxsan has turned down an offer of 50,000 dinars as compensation to the family of the Philippine housemaid Janeline Villavendi who was murdered  in Kuwait.  The Kuwaiti businessman, who is believed to  be involved in the woman's murder, offered her family 50,000 dinars through the foreign ministry officials to settle the case.

According to reports, Janel's father had lashed out  to Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry officials who had approached him asking him to sign some documents to settle the case in exchange ofr 50,000 dinars."Accepting 50,000 dinars for this heinous crime is similar to selling the victim's blood,"said  Philippine Foreign Minister Theodoro Luxan  on Twitter.'We demand punishment for the natives responsible for the murder.  The minister asked Philippine Ambassador in  Kuwait, Mohammed Noor al-Din Lomontot to make sure that no attempt be made to implement the ransom offer to Villavendi's family
