1588 WORK PERMITS CANCELLED WITHIN 72 HOURS

Kuwait City : In the three working days from January 25 to January 27, 44% of work permits, or 1558 expatriate work permits, were revoked, according to the Public Authority for Manpower.The number of permits canceled on the 27th of this month thus rose to 5215. The number was 3625 on the 24th of this month.

According to statistics,for four main reasons  led to the the 1588 work permits that were recently revoked
1. Cancellation of work permit and expatriate leave for other purposes  In case
2. Expatriates outside the country who are unable to renew their residence permit
3. Cancellation of work permit due to death of the worker
4. Cancel work permit and transfer to family visa.

About 30 per cent of work permits, or 2415 work permits, were canceled due to expatriates leaving the country for other purposes. 342 work permits were revoked due to death of workers. 51% or 2324 work permits were revoked in the case of expatriates switching to family visas, leaving the country or failing to renew residence documents.
